Matthew was appointed at Chemin as Reception in 2004. His potential in assisting Chemin clients and dedication to his work saw him being promoted to Trainee Project Officer in 2008 and was then promoted to Project Officer in 2010. Matthew is studying at NMMU for a Diploma in Business Management, which is due for completion in December 2011.
He has completed training with SABS on ISO 14001 Standards - Understanding and Implementing Environment Management System (EMS) and ISO 18000 - Occupational Health and Safety. Matthew is responsible for the training of all incubatees on the manufacturing of Chemical Detergents, ISO 14001 and ISO 18000.
Matthew was also responsible for setting up the new centre at the East London IDZ, where he was attached from August 2010 to February 2011.
