Phumeza recently joined Chemin as an Administration Assistant for the new East London Incubation centre sponsored by Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development and Environmental Affairs.
She is currently studying part-time for a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the Walter Sisulu University. She also possesses an ICT and Communications Skills qualifications from Walter Sisulu University. She did her in-service training with Fabkomp, an automotive components manufacturing company in King Williams Town. She was then employed permanently after completing her 1 year in-service training as a machine operator where she served many clients like Toyota, Daimler Chrysler, TFM and many more.
The immense 2 years experience she gained through working with different departments at Fabkomp enabled her to venture out in search of new experiences and challenges and joined Mayibuye Transport Corporation (a public transport service provider for the Eastern Cape) as a technical administrator. Phumeza joined Chemin in January 2011.
