Precious joined Chemin as an in-service trainee in February 2010. She holds a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and is also looking forward to furthering her studies next year in Formulation Science as most of her job description requires extreme proficiency in that field.
Precious is currently working for Chemin in East London as a Project Assistant, where her expertise are utilised mainly as a quality control and research chemist. Her responsibilities include analysing of raw materials, intermediate products and final products for purity to ensure they fall within specification.
She offers technical support to clients in determining faults in rejected products and solve problems when they occur within the manufacturing process. Other responsibilities include; conducting the raw materials acceptance test accurately, ensuring all QC work and records and maintained. She is also part of the team that is development a Quality Management Systems for the incubator.
Precious has also has completed various courses in the manufacturing of chemical detergents, Laboratory Health and Safety, Product Security as well as auditing and testing of formulated products.
