His other academic qualifications include Certificate in venture creation (NQF 7) from Wits Business School and Certificate in Bio-entrepreneurship (NQF 8) from University of Pretoria. Ever passionate about education Senzo is currently studying Project Management with the University of Pretoria.
Senzo Xulu was appointed as the Project Officer for the new Chemin incubation centre in East London IDZ.
Senzo studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town and confesses that he is seeking challenges in project management, business development and engineering space, where his problem solving skills, analytical mind, business acumen and systems approach can be utilized industriously. Senzo was recruited from Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) where he was a project analyst. His key performance indicators at the company entailed analyzing project proposals to determine if they meet TIA investment criteria, communication of the findings to key stakeholders, project management and provide review reports to the TIA project management steering committee.
Senzo spent his spare time and vacations industriously, performing diverse jobs to beef up his work experience. In 2006/7 he had a stint at the Zeolite Institute in Germany, spending three months as a junior researcher. At the University of Cape Town he worked for Biocatalysts and Technical Biology unit as a research assistant and in the Chemical Engineering Department as an Administrator, in the process creating database for the scientific papers used in the Department. He has also spent time at an estate agency, Elsma Properties letting residential properties.
